SNOW!!!

All bundled up! Thanks to my cousin Daneen sending her daughter's snow gear to us this year, Bridget was fully outfitted for the snow! Bridget had endless energy for snow play and boy did Brian and I feel it at the end of the day!

Our sweet snow angel!

Yes, I am wearing the dorky plastic trash bags over my boots - it may not be fashionable, but my feet were dry at the end of the day!

We walked up to our neighborhood cafe with our freinds and neighbors, Todd and Amelia, to warm up and get some hot chocolate. Yum!

Sweet Bridget!

Awww - feel the love!

Doing her fair share of the work! Our cafe sells staple items, so we brought the wagon to haul back some milk and eggs!

Sledding and licking the snow were her two favorite things. I'm sure you can guess who taught her about licking the snow...

This is a view of Bridget sledding down a hill near our backyard. It was super fast and fun! The woods border it on one side and one time, Bridget and I got a little too close and ended up in the trees - that did nothing for my back!

Loving the snow!

Here is the view of another hill we sled down.

Bridget so badly wanted to have a snowball fight, but the snow just wasn't cooperating. It was too dry and crumbly, so she settled for finding big bits of snow/ice that were already packed together and throwing those at us. Fun!

She found a big one!
We had such a fun time and we are so glad to have made these memories! It was a nice reprieve in the midst of a busy season.

Today, Amelia and her mom, Paula, came to play. We decided to stay inside today and do arts and crafts - yay! So nice to have great neighbors!

First Dance Class!

Bridget and her best bud, Kaitlyn, are in the same dance/gym class at Little Gym. They do tap for 15 min., ballet for 15 min., and gym for 30 min. Its a great class and Bridget and Kaitlyn did extremely well for being the youngest (its 3-5 year-olds) and for it being their first class without parents (usually we go in with them). The girls were actually a riot to watch because they were attached at the hip the entire time. The teachers even tried to separate them at one point! The rest of the semester should be fun! :)

Friends and Funny Faces

Here are Bridget and one of her best friends, Kaitlyn, hamming it up!

Silly girls!

Pajama Day at school!!

Funny faces!
She took pictures of me making funny faces, too, but you will not see those posted here! :)

Yes, that is gum in her mouth! She just started chewing it and she goes through about 3 pieces of gum a day! Seriously, she is addicted! Like mother, like daughter! :)

Christmas Day!

On Christmas morning, we had breakfast at Nonni and Bapo's house. They were sweet enough to let Bridget spend the night, so we could sleep in. Thank you!!!! Then we headed to Wilson to spend Christmas day and night with the Harrells. It was a great time. We all spent the night at Granny and Grandaddy's house and the next day we had a photographer come and take family pictures. They turned out so good!
Bridget opening her gift from Gabby.

Yay! - dress-up clothes from Granny and Grandaddy!

Jacob and Elli

The girls making necklaces together.

Over Christmas break we met up with Bridget's friend Kaitlyn and went to Marbles museum. The girls had a blast.

Bridget loves her Uncle Dane!

Merry Christmas Eve!

As we have done the last two years, we celebrated Bridget's Christmas morning on Christmas Eve morning, so that it is not so rushed seeing family on Christmas day. Uncle Dale helped us set everything up the night before and came back over in the morning to watch Bridget open her presents.

All the loot!

Santa brought Bridget her a microphone just like she asked for!

Uncle Dale got her this cool puppet theater and puppets - she loves it!

Santa also remember to bring her a purple flashlight and added a cute puppy dog, too. Ms. Martha also got her a puppy dog that barks - so cute!

Aahh!! Can anyone say "Overstimulation"?! Eveyone was so generous! This gift is from my Aunt Rosella up in Philly. Thanks Aunt Rosella!!

Peek-a-boo!

Our friends, Thomas and Alex, came over later in the day and Bridget and Alex had fun with all the new stuff.

All dressed up for the Christmas Eve service with "soft Larry" - another present from Uncle Dale. This girl loves some Veggie Tales!

After the church service. we headed to my parent's house for dinner, presents, and games. Uncle Frankie and Aunt Kelly had to work this year, but Uncle Dane, Cousin Doug, and Nonni and Bapo were all there. I took Bridget to the Dollar store to get gifts for eveyone and she loved handing out these gifts!

Here she is watching Nonni open hers.

Nonni and bapo got Bridget this cool cd player karaoke machine. She loves putting her cds in a singing her heart out!

Playdate, more Christmas Cookies, Christmas Crafts, and a Two-Year-Old Mess!

Here is our friend, Gabe (with the striped shirt), who was so sick and couldn't have the cookie party. So, we invited him and his siblings and Bridget's other friends, Luke and Abigail, to come play and make cookies when everyone was well again!

Bridget and Abigail LOVED each other!

Ethan and Ryland, Gabe's brother and sister - so cute!!

Decorating Christmas cookies!

Here is Bridget working on a Christmas craft (i.e. left-over, cut-up wrapping paper, paint, and glue - what else do you need?!)

Our neighbor, Alicia, came over to do crafts, and you guessed it, more Christmas cookies!!

And this, is our two-year-old mess!!! She goes to the bathroom by herself now and this time she was taking a little longer than usual. So, we peeked inside and found this - bubbles, anyone? :)

Kelly's Graduation and Our little Mary

Yes, my little sister is officially a college graduate!! She graduated, Cum Laude, from NC State with a degree in Textiles!! And, she landed her first job as a manager for Abercrombie and Fitch! Way to go, Kelly! We are so proud of you!

Mom and Dad and Kelly

Me, Kelly, and Frankie

My beautiful sister!

So, the shy preschooler who would not sing at her preschool performance, belted out some tunes for us and some friends on the karaoke machine. Imagine that! She was so funny!

Bridget has really gotten into the Nativity this Christmas and she loves to pretend to be Mary and for Brian to be Joseph. Baby Jesus is usually one of her stuffed animals which she places in a basket. Love it!
