Instread of gifts, Bridget asked everyone to bring diapers for the Karen refugee families in our church. However, she still got some presents from those who couldn't resist - she is so spoiled!! :)

Daddy/Daughter Dances

Bridget was so lucky to get to go to two dances with Daddy in a row! The first dance was at Grace Community Church. The second was at our neighborhood clubhouse. So sweet and so much fun!!

Bridget is 5!!!

Another sweet year older!! It is hard to believe how quickly the time goes by! We are so thankful for Bridget and for the way God is shaping her precious heart. She is truly a gift to us and we cherish these moments with her!! Bridget is acting so grown-up lately and living up to her 5-year-old status! She does big girl chores, "homework", teaches her little sister everything, is all done with naps, and goes to bday parties and playdates without me there! We are so proud of her and so happy to be her mommy and daddy!

Early Birthday Surprise with Uncle Dane and Aunt Katie!

Uncle Dane and Aunt Katie took Bridget to Chick-fil-a and Build-a-Bear for her birthday!! She loved spending time with them and she loved getting to pick out Eleina, a cute weiner dog, from Build-a-Bear!

Thanks for such a fun night out!! Just about a week later, Uncle Dane proposed to Katie on Valentine's Day night!! Yay!! They will be married on August 18, 2012 and they asked bridget to be their flower girl!! So fun!! So happy to have Katie as part of our family!

Brianna loves when her big sissy sings to her - funny enough, they have this little routine at the breakfast table - Brianna will lean her head over toward Bridget and say "sissy" and Bridget will rest her hand on Brianna's cheek and sing Silent Night, Away in a Manger, and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. It is truly the sweetest thing!!

Caroline's shower!

My sweet friend, Caroline, is having twin girls, so our Bible study threw a shower for her at my house. Caroline and I grew up across the street from each other and have been friends since we were 4 years old, so it is so special to be sharing such wonderful life events with each other!!

the rest of the pregnant friends who could be there - there are at least 5 more of my friends who are pregnant, so it is an exciting few months coming up with all of these babies! I am so late in posting this, that Caroline has already given birth to 2 healthy, beautiful baby girls, Allison and Cassie!
